BACKSTAGE FACILITIES

We have been thrilled and excited with the growth and success of our studio.  During the 2002-2003 dance year, we began a search for new and improved facilities.  We looked at numerous locations.  Our hard work and patience was rewarded.  We found a real gem - 45 Lewis Road, Unit 2, Guelph, Ontario.

During the Summer of 2004, we arranged for the construction of our state-of-the-art facilities, which include the following components:

• Four spacious dance studios, which we nicknamed
  
  "Broadway",
  "42nd Street"
  "The Bronx"
  "Hollywood"
  
  
• Hardwood sprung floors in all four studios
  
  Advantage of sprung floors: all movement activity generates energy. Energy directly returned to the body can be harmful, and may result in shin splints, back and knee problems, fatigue and strains. A non energy absorbent flooring system can result in injuries. Sprung floors provide shock absorbent characteristics that eliminate problems associated with hard, non absorbent floors.
  
  
• High ceilings in all four studios
  
  
• One-way viewing windows to permit viewing of classes
  
  
• Open-concept office area
  
  
• First floor location (no need to climb stairs),
  with convenient front-door drop off access
  
  
• Roomy waiting areas, with plenty of seating
  
  
• Two change rooms
  
  
• Two bathrooms
  
  
• Plenty of safety features, including a sprinkler system and numerous emergency exits
